After your test, we can mitigate the Radon and repair cracks in the basement floor. We can perform concrete foundation crack repair while mitigating Radon, or as separate standalone services!
Radon Mitigation
Radon mitigation systems work by using a fan to constantly pull air from the soil under your house and vent it outside through a pipe that goes above the edge of your roof. The pipe runs inside or outside your home and vents outside, away from windows and openings where it could get back inside.
Our Radon mitigation service also includes caulking of cracks in the floor and a new lid on the sump pump and the mitigation system itself.
Concrete Foundation Crack Repair
Our Radon mitigation service covers the caulking of cracks in the basement floor, but if additional cracks are found in the basement walls, we can perform additional crack repairs.

Stuedemann Radon does not test for Radon. This service is provided by licensed testers. We only work with Illinois’ most respected testers to provide you with the most reliable results. Whether you are just curious or concerned about the possibility of Radon gas in your home, it’s never a bad idea to have a test done!
Step 2. Results
Any level of Radon found in the results can be harmful, especially if it accumulates over time. The highest recommended level of Radon is 4.0piC/L. If your results read anything over this, call us immediately to schedule a mitigation service!
Step 3. Fix it!
Radon mitigation only takes a few hours and provides little disturbance to your average day. Our professional team will perform the Radon mitigation and any additional crack repair in a short time and leave your home as nice as we found it. We stand by our work for a lifetime!
